Eligibility for Free Services
  • You must be an Immigrant, Refugee or International Student. 
  • You must be a resident of the city of Columbus.
  • You must attend classes offered by LLCDA. 
  • You must support any of the programs on the list to your right by donating regularly (unless you have low household income).

 To apply for Free assistance, please provide the following information:

         Picture ID & Social Security Card

        Proof of Income: Weekly Pay Stub, Award Letter, Child Support Letter, Unemployment Stub, Utility Checks, etc.

        Proof of Address: Utility Bill, Lease Agreement or Rent Receipt

       Proof of Children: Birth Certificate, Care Source Card, Medicaid Card, etc.

Please Donate!

 LLCDA needs your donations as well as your volunteer time. In order to sustain the association's operational expenses we suggest that everyone donate at least the bare minimum required per person:

Here are just a few examples of how your gift can help continue our activities and economically challenged students:   

* $120 covers the cost for supplies and materials to learn English as a second language for a year.  

* $120 covers the cost for supplies and materials to prepare for the US Citizenship test for a year. 

* $50  covers the cost of child care for the children coming with the attendees. 

* $50 covers administrative costs for a month.

* $25 covers the delivery and handling costs for the monthly fresh produce program. 

* $10 covers the cost for supplies and materials for a month.
